Well, this year round, this was how my day unfolded:
29 SEPTEMBER 2007
12.00am
Endless streams of SMSs flooded both my 012 and 016 phones! woohoo.. in 22, but i still got what it takes to reel in attention and affection.. hehe. Nearly spent 20 mins or so replying every msg take received (something i rarely do with SMSs, esp those which come in floods of waves =D )
12.30am
Got back to work on my power point slides for tomorrows Priciple of Marketing presentation at 9am.. Can you imagine, having to sit in front of your computer, frying up your brain cells, when other people would normally go paint the town red on their birthday? yeapp.. thats the typical me! workaholic! @_@ I slept at 5.30am! After hours of editing sound, video, and making the power point, i finally fell flat on my comfy bed. I just had to let my brain shut down for a while, ive fried my brain cells enough for one night. @_@
9.00am
I was there 5mins earlier. Set up the place, waited for lect, who came 30mins later. Was the 3rd to present. All went well, no question (as expected), and was dismissed about 12.30pm.
1.30pm
My need for sleep was more dire than my need for food, so i just snuggled on bed for a nap. Nap nap.. until overslept till 4.oopm! Ayo.. sprang up, gathered things, sped off to fetch sis to music class.. my car reached speeds of 100 km/j... wah leau eh! reached ngam-ngam at 5, on the dot.
6.30pm
When i fetched sis back from class, relatives already in my house. Came to visit mum. Was a tearful reunion after so long. haih.
7.30pm
They left. Sis and i were the chefs of the day. We made noise in the kitchen... and served up a platter worthy of a king. (wahaha.. puji benar masakan kitok eh?) that was first time we cooked together. nobody went to toilet later, if u were wondering. =) Then we blew cake at bout 8pm, just before dad went to church.
9.30pmWent out for a drink with frens. Chit chat and all. And NO, i DIDNt get drunk. Aha. Got back bout 1am.
1.30amPlayed UNO with sis awhile, then ZzzZZzzz....
Well, that was my 22nd bday. Come to think of it, it was pretty okay, considering i got angpaus from grand relatives in advance and all... one thing i would love to have this bday is a very precious gift that i would treasure till the end of my life and guard with all my might, till my last breath, that is:
"for my Mummy to fight this cancer and get well,so that we can be one big happy family again."
